Treasure Coast Riding Club
Welcome
Welcome!

The Treasure Coast Riding Club was formed in 2006, fulfilling a long held dream of it's  founder, Nancy DeSisto.  T.C.R.C., is the local chapter of our national parent organization, the O.P.R.C.  That stands for the "Old People's Riding Club".  (That unlikely moniker was assumed due to when the organization first started, the term "adult" riding club had some "unusual" applications, so the much less inflammatory "old people's" riding club became it's title!)

The goal of the O.P.R.C. and our T.C.R.C., is to provide progressive education for horse-lovers over the age of 21.  Regardless of which discipline you choose, the type of saddle you ride in, or which kind of boots you wear, the educational opportunities are available to you whether you own a horse or not.

Activities of all sorts are carefully planned to maximize safety, learning opportunities and the social enhancement of our members.  We have regular monthly meetings where guest speakers educate us on all sorts of interesting subjects, our mounted activities are set up for fun and learning with our equine partners and we have monthly study groups that meet  to delve more deeply into topics of interest. Each month, there are three educational opportunities to help our members achieve greater safety and knowledge of our "magnificent obsession"!
